This is a long read and who knows if the NYT will allow it to be posted here for long. It is interesting. If it is as they say and humans evolved from sea creatures then it makes sense that we are jellyfish.

Can you imagine what the first fish to walk on land went through?
"Parents? I want to jump onto the beach."
"No! That's suicide! We will NOT let you!"
"But I can't help myself. This urge is overwhelming! It seems so natural. It just seems like something I'm supposed to do!"
If it is as they say and humans evolved from sea creatures then it makes sense that humans are on a self destruct path. It would be jellyfish survival to get rid of its human shell. Most humans are participating (knowingly or not) in causing the oceans to become too acid. Acidic oceans are burning the shells of sea creatures.
