First strike

One can also see how easily injury occurred. I would have run to the window to see. One very smart woman, an elementary school teacher, instead of running to the window immediately had her pupils assume the defense position that they had drilled for.

Human senses conceptualize environment based on relationship history.

I once met a family; Parents, adult children and their adult cousins. I was the recipient of their talk as they were trying to interpret what was happening in their environment. Their loved one was critically ill. Each person so clearly exhibited no thought during the time I was hearing their words. Every one of them parroted what they had heard said by others. They each spoke to me. One at a time. The next. The next one. The next. The next one.

We use our senses to conceptualize the surrounding environment. We use our brain to interpret the senses' stimulation. Our relationships influence how our brains interpret the stimuli.
